What types of issues will the PANL tackle?
The PANL is not intended to mimic, replicate or function as a union. This association is intended for the sole purpose of representing Emergency Medical professionals. The PANL is committed to following the direction of its members. In that regard we encourage all types of suggestions and feedback. It is important that we focus our energies towards forwarding our core mandates and living up to our mission statement. Presently, the PANL is working on a proposal to present to government regarding the benefits of implementing a province-wide 911 system.
What benefits can I look forward to as a member of the PANL?
At present, members receive a quarterly newsletter. Only members of PANL will have access to the association’s website forum. PANL is interested in pursuing other benefits for members as opportunities arise.

How long will the $40.00 registration fee cover me for?
The $40.00 entitles you to one full year's membership. If you sign up on April 1, 2006 you will be covered until March 31, 2007 of the following year. There is no specific "annual registration date" for members.
I am an EMS professional but not registered with the Department of Health in Newfoundland and Labrador. Can I still become a member?
The PANL encourages anyone interested in the association and who is an EMS practitioner to join the association. In order to be a full member with voting privileges, you must be currently practicing as a provincial EMS practitioner.
